TWO DAY TASSEL & TRIM WORKSHOP

TWO DAY WORKSHOP 16/17th MARCH 2019

Ever wondered just how trimmings are made? Our 2-day workshop will show you the basics of hand-made Passementerie ( decorative trimming such as braids, fringe, tassels etc.), and let you try your hand at making  tassels, covered buttons, ruffles and a decorative acorn similar to those made for a bed at Marchmont House. Suitable for upholsterers, those who work with soft furnishings and textiles and anyone else interested in working with their hands to make beautiful things.
